"puppies"
Callen has normally been a man of few words, but as with everything else in our life, that is changing. His arsenal is still pretty limited, but with teaching him more and more signs, and his growing vocabulary, we can communicate decently... as well as you can communicate with a not even 2 year old boy.
Well, Wednesday we went to Wilmington. Matt has a great aunt (she is/was married to Matt's grandfather's brother who passed away before Matt and I got married) that lives down there. They moved there years ago, and after he passed, she stayed. So anytime we're in town or close by, we visit. Being as the rest of the family is in Minnesota, I know it blesses her to see family.
Wednesday, our little family and my brother headed down for lunch and then a visit to the Fort Fisher Aquarium. It was a blast. Unfortunately, Auntie Lorraine did not want her picture taken, and when she is determined not to be captured by the camera, she can be quite stealthy. The rest of us however, did get in some shots :P
Callen had a BLAST. I taught him the sign for fish, and said it over and over (and over and over) trying to get him to repeat after me, but alas, it was not working and we went to the aquarium to look at the "puppies" (while signing fish).
